May is Lupus Awareness Month, a time to come together, educate, and TAKE ACTION for our communities.
This special weekend retreat is designed for young girls ages 12-19 living with lupus. While parents are unable to attend, licensed medical volunteers, mentors, and LFA staff will be on-site at all times. It’s a chance for young lupus warriors to step away from daily challenges and connect with other teens who understand their journey. Here, you’ll find a supportive, empowering space where you can relax, learn, understand the impact of lupus now and as you grow, and be inspired by others who truly understand what you're going through.
This collection provides up-to-date resources and information on lupus allowing people with lupus learn how the disease affects different aspects of life.

Our health education specialists are specially trained to provide people affected by lupus with free non-medical support, disease education, information and helpful resources.
The Wolves + Butterflies: Lupus Diaries is a documentary that unpacks the complex realities of living with lupus, exposing the emotional journeys of not only lupus warriors themselves, but also their caregivers, loved ones, and friends advocating against the disease. We look to give a voice and visibility to those who have long felt isolated, marginalized, and misunderstood as a result of their struggle.
